The Christian Education program at Emmanuel provides educational programs for both children and adults. We have a variety of opportunities for every need and we illustrate education in all its forms, from hands-on learning to intentional study. Sunday morning programs are available for children through adults at 9:45 a.m. Join us to learn more about our Sunday School for youngsters, youth (grades 7-12) and adults.

Sunday School for children from pre-school through High School meets from 9:45-10:50 every Sunday morning.

Visit the Adult Programs of our website to learn about weekday, evening and Sunday morning Bible study and discussion groups. Joint worship services and study programs are held with Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church in Potomac. Pastor Lookingbill and Rabbi Leonard Cahan of Temple Har Shalom in Potomac are continuing to lead a joint interfaith study on a topic of interest to both our faiths.

Our two-year Confirmation Program is taught by Pastors Lookingbill and Lewis and includes opportunities for community service and fellowship.

For Information on any of our programs of Christian Education, contact Robert Lewis, Director of Youth and Family Ministry, at rllewis@elcbethesda.org, or 301-365-5733
