School Supplies Drive in June 2008

School’s out!! …. Shopping Already?!

It's the end of the school year - time to buy more school supplies! Why? Well, Emmanuel's students may not need them this summer, but some other kids in our county do - kids of working poor, homeless, and disabled individuals, and recent immigrants.

During the summer the Interfaith Clothing center collects pencils, notebooks, and other items for these school kids, to get them ready for fall. To help the ICC with its school supply drive, Emmanuel will be collecting the items on the shopping list below. Please bring them to the narthex on June 8 and 15 - we'll do the rest!

Shopping list: New backpacks, calculators, boxes of pencils and pens, erasers, glue, glue sticks, rulers, markers, crayons (24-48 per box), 3-ring binders, pocket folders, notebook dividers, marble composition books, pencil boxes, wide-ruled loose leaf paper, spiral notebooks, small boxes of tissues, and highlighters.
